Tom’s duo with Paul Sullivan is an exciting hotpot of songs and tunes! Drawing on Paul’s seemingly endless supply of traditional song, and blending it with Tom’s precocious fiddle playing, their energetic new album breaks down the barriers between tune and song, mixing the two seamlessly. They draw from Eastern European and English influences to create a powerful blend of tradition and ideas.

Having finished recording and producing the album in late May 2005, the duo are to be found in folk clubs, folk trains, sessions, bars, job centres, magistrates courts and occasionally festivals. There are a few samples to download on the music page! Sull's recent retirement into librarianship has meant that gigs with this partnership are few and far between, but always well received!

Tom is also the fiddle player for Macclesfield’s finest Ceilidh band, Albireo. Dominating the ceilidh scene in East Cheshire, Albireo play largely English material with the power and flair that it deserves!

Tom also plays occasionally with The Fox Hat, having been their regular fiddle player for 4 years. These titans of the East Midlands folk rock scene have been astonishing and deafening audiences for 6 years and continue to push ahead with new members and new material! Not to be missed... not that you could, within one square mile of any gig..
